Tormentor
At Eve of War Fest, Hungarian black metal legends Tormentor unleashed absolute mayhem. Spearheaded by Attila Csihar’s otherworldly growls, the crowd erupted for classics off Anno Domini, with Elizabeth Bathory fueling a collective meltdown. Tormentor’s stage theatrics soared to deliciously deranged heights, complete with a gaggle of ominous skulls, gratuitous whip-cracking, and a bizarre peasant plague-chic cameo by an unexpected hunchback. Their malignant riffs sounded more rotten than an abandoned crypt at midnight, leaving eardrums thoroughly traumatized. By the end, the only thing left standing was the memory of Tormentor’s infernal spectacle…and my slightly melted face from terror.
