We are a team of photographers and writers that focus on metal/punk music culture. As life-long metal maniacs, we’ve had the opportunity to document some of the best in underground music across the United States.

Lucas James is the primary wordsmith and has a background in creative direction in the world of Chicago advertising. His wealth of heavy metal knowledge stems from a long history of playing in bands most of his life. Luke’s favorite bands include Bathory, Celtic Frost, and MGLA.
