Go Ahead and Die

It’s a Family Tradition
None of us are immune from the shadow cast by our father. Some stretch a little farther and require more work to get out from under.
How do you find your own path in the world when the ground before you has already been paved?
Go Ahead and Die feels like a true collaboration between Igor and Max. Yes, there are riffs that sound like Sepultura, which is sick and what you want, but those parts feel more like ideas Max brought to Igor that were developed into something new and unique. The respect is apparent. They are writing together.
I have a hard time imagining Igor ever saying “Do you know who my dad is?!”. He seems hell bent on contributing to the what his family started, not relying on it, to define who he is.
