Once again, Demoncy brought down the house. Closing out the first night of Eve of War, Demoncy brought true Satanic black metal to Detroit. Before beginning their performance, they set the tone with a cup ritual - a chalice which each band member drinks from. A stillness comes over the room. A moment of calm before chaos ensues. The incense are lit, a skull is raised and it’s on. Demoncy just feels evil, like that eerie feeling you get on the back of your neck when something weird is going to happen. You can feel the mood change when they take the stage, like you’re about to witness something truly special. I’m thankful to see them twice this summer, the first time at Destroying Texas Fest. HAILS DEMONCY. 💀
